A Thermal Detonator sound board that I designed at the opportunity of the Oubliette TD run on KickStarter
The board contains a thermal detonator sound font, several of them have been made by myself, Genesis Custom Sabers and Eastern57.
It includes a motion sensor that allows an enhanced interactivity with the prop replica, which can be in idle mode when static and move to a warning mode when waved.
Derived from our Nano Biscotte saber board, shocks on the prop will trigger an explosion sound. An additional switch (auxiliary switch) can be installed under the top red lamp (provided) to trigger movie quotes or engage an energy burst (similar to the blade lockup of our saber boards).

... Loads of bondo, filler, primer and sanding, as the casts had tons of bubbles.
?First coat of chrome acrylic paint. Already quite shiny for just acrylic paint, no buffing involved here, just airbrushing

Weathering in progress
?Cleaning in progress, still have some brush marks but I let this layer dry before I start buffing certain areas, then I might get a global juice on it with thinned brass or gold.
